I have another window’s Laptop which has a 1080p display. But I’m really disappointed with the display of my MacBook air 2017’s low-resolution display. I’m having problems during the work with high-resolution photos. Is it possible to replace the display with any of the high-resolution displays like MacBook pro or anything? I appreciate your response.
Thats not going to really improve the image as the GPU logic this series has can’t push anything higher. 13” MacBook Air 2.2 GHz Core i7 (2017) - Native Resolution:1440x900 13.3" color widescreen TFT LED-backlit active-matrix “glossy” display with a 1440 by 900 native resolution. Apple reports that it also supports “1280 by 800, 1152 by 720, and 1024 by 640 pixels at 16:10 aspect ratio and 1024 by 768 and 800 by 600 pixels at 4:3 aspect ratio”. 13” MacBook Air 1.6 GHz Core i5 (Late 2018) - Native Resolution:2560x1600 13.3" color widescreen LED-backlit “Retina” display with IPS technology. It has a 2560 by 1600 native resolution at 227 ppi and support for millions of colors. It also supports scaled resolutions of 1680 by 1050, 1440 by 900, and 1024 by 640. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio. I would look at getting either a used 2018 or 2019 MacBook Air. OR if you can wait Apple is expected to be releasing a new MacBook Air in the next few weeks. The other option is to use an external GPU and monitor, sadly, thats not very portable.
