I was replacing the touch screen on my 3ds xl and I tore the ribbon cable that goes under the board (the wide one at the bottom of the stack of three in the to right corner of the device) -aka the hardest cable I’ve ever had to try and put back in. I can attach a photo. Thank you

Hi Ben. The chances of you repairing the screen flex are close to none. You’d be better off buying a new screen. With that said I never actually tried to fix a flex cable like that. If you have the proper tools: microscope, micropencil, really thin wire and a UV mask. You could give it a shot, worse case scenario it’ll stay broken. There’s also the possibility the cable will warp under the heat. I’d go as far as to call people attempting to repair this many pins close to insane
