Hey. I’ve got an old iPhone 5s with a pretty badly shattered screen. Most of the top is missing from it. The phone is still functional. However, about a month ago the phone was dropped in water. As I said, it still works fine apart from the fact that the SIM is not recognised in it. Was just wondering if it was safe to perform a screen repair on this? I wold say there is most likely a lot more wrong with your iPhone but I can’t say for sure. If you just want to fix it for fun then definitely try to fix it but if not for fun, I think its time to upgrade Sam. But if you’re just wondering if its safe then, yes of course! Just ware some gloves so you don’t get small glass fragments on your fingers.
