I have an iphone xs max with a shattered cover and screen with glass fallin out and blacked everything now my iphone wont turn on and i cant do the iTunes trick to see if its jus my screen and not my phone everytime i hold the power and voulme down it still does a loud siren is that a sign of the phone to still be working? If not how else could i tell if it still works?

Hi. The fact that you can hear the siren does indicate that there is some functionality. In that condition and without fitting a new front screen it will be hard to tell the extent of the functionality of the phone. You could try and charge the phone to see if you hear that sound. If the housing of the phone isn’t bent, it is likely the motherboard of the phone will be fine.

its the emergency sos you need a new screen to see it but the phone is on
