I damaged my waterpump housing crossover while trying to remove a stripped waterpump. I drilled 2 holes straight through where the rubber seal sits. This part does not exist. 12583237 I have found others with different part numbers from different years which claim to be for a range of years but in the description it says it must be a matching number. Is it interchangeable? Should I just scrap it? Almost Defeated
crispingary , sorry to hear of your misery, I think you should contact a good local salvage yard and see what they have available, they can cross reference most parts and the better yards are on a computer link system with thousands of other yards and should be able to locate your part.
