I was wondering if anyone has replaced the front camera/face unlock assembly? If so, is it serialized like the iPhones? Or can you replace it, and it still work?
As far as I know it shouldn’t be locked to the phone. If not I’m sure iFixit would’ve pointed it out.
I recently changed the front camera with the full assembly. Now face unlock shows certificate expired. Everything works except Thale face unlock. Did try to “learn” my face but shows that error so I can’t even register my face
