Looking to purchase a new screen and digitizer assembly, however i have purchased one before from another supplier and found the color reproduction & brightness was not as good. It also didn’t work with polarized glasses. So i’m curious to know if the ifixit OEM screen suffers from the same issues, or if its true to the original display?
Nobody can guarantee they can get reliable source for “real” OEM screens as Apple don’t sell them publicly, OEM suppliers face legal consequences if they sell Apple screens themselves. Most screens you see are either recycled from broken ones or non-OEM altogether. Or some parts are OEM, some recycled and some non-OEM parts Frankensteined together.
