I lost the filter( a very small piece of white plastics) in front of ambient light sensor during my repairing by accident. What’s the function of it ? Anyone know where I can buy a one ?
Answer is yes it helps to control intensity of light prediction on the sensor. you can check with the filter & without filter and you will be able to identify the different results that screen brightness will not control properly when you check without filter. but it is a compulsory component to have to save your battery life.
