I’ve done a lot of microsoldering, so I was thinking I’d try to replace the cables myself. Is there a guide for splitting open the screen to get access to the cables?
After watching this vid I’m sure you’ll change your mind! How to Fix Flexgate by Changing Cable Only This is not easy for either 13”, 15” or 16” unless you are willing to risk having to replace the display assembly if you mess up. I had a few bad units and tried it became clear this is not repairable with the needed quality the customer would be expecting.
