I’m locked out of my Toshiba Satellite c855d-s5307, my three year old daughter was playing with my puter and somehow changed my password and now I can’t get in at all
This link might be helpful in resetting your password. I never used it myself, but I read that it’s not bad. http://www.pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/
I searched around a little and came up with a few links. You can try these, though I have no experience with them myself. http://www.pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/ http://www.resetwindowspassword.com http://windowsrecoverpassword.com/
You must burn a password reset CD similar to what was posted by Jesse. Insert the Burned CD into your computer drive. Restart computer. Continuously tap the F12 key until you get to boot menu. Pick the CD/DVD drive in the menu to boot from the CD. Let the CD disk startup and follow the directions to reset your password.
i had this same problem if you have nothing you want to save then do a reinstall of windows that way you can set up a new password.
