Hello, My name is Muzammil Usmani and I am inquiring about PS5 Power Supply issues. I have not played PS5 for a couple of months due to my final semester for my degree completion. The PS5 wont turn on despite following the steps listed on here. I sent my PS5 to a repair shop, and they told me the power supply is completely dead. In order to replace it, I have to pay at least $200 for replacement. I do not have that much money. How do I completely recharge the power supply for PS5, so I can turn on the PS5 console? I’m not completely sure what you mean by ‘Recharge,’ but replacing your power supply on your PS5 would probably cost around $100 if you plan on doing it yourself. A used one can be ordered from iFixit, but you would need the tools to replace it. Alternatively, you could attempt to open up your power supply, diagnose the issue with it, and attempt to replace the component that was causing the power supply to not work.
