Hi, I bought this laptop when I thought I’d need a graphics card. I haven’t really but everything was fine until I switched to Linux where having the Optimus-enabled graphics card has led to very short battery life and the fans always spinning. Thanks in advance.
From what I recall, you can go to your “Device Manager” go to graphics and disable the one you are choosing to disable.
