I recently removed the screen of my apple watch series 2 with success without touching the force touch gasket at all. It’s still laying there like if nothing happenned ! I was wondering if there was a way to control if it’s still working before putting adhesive to it and seal the new screen. Or is it only working once the screen is sticked to it ?
As long as everything is properly connected, I don’t see any reason why adhesive would effect functionality.
