My girlfriend uses the G50-45 and I wondered if it would be possible to replace the graphics card of the laptop with something more powerful. Would it be possible with or without removing the mainboard itself or are there other ways to improve?
Hi! It depends. There is only one way to upgrade the GPU from the Intel one to the nVidia one by changing the mother board with one that has the nVidia chip, but you can’t upgrade the nVidia one to anything better since it’s soldered to the mother board and because there only was a single GPU type available.
