I have done a factory reset on our Samsung TV and the HDMI port still does not receive any external device. Is there a way to reset the port? I was told there is a sequence of buttons to push to reset it? Not sure if this is true.
Generally yes,but factory resetting is the best thing you can do. If that doesn’t work,it’s probably hardware related. Do you only have one hdmi port? Have you tried different cables and devices? sometimes the main board has an ic(integrated circuit )chip go bad for hdmi. It’s possible an ic chip failed. This would require a microsolderer to repair. There are guys that can come out though.
