My classic has a lot of music and videos from near a decade ago, that a majority of are no longer available to me or online due to pretty much not having the files anymore. Is there anyway I can obtain or transfer the files from my classic iPod onto my PC? Saw this post on reddit, and wondered if this was possible to do before I attempt to make any repairs onto my iPod.
Yes it is possible, open itunes and click on your device, check the “use as disk storage” box, then go into the filesystem and copy all the files to somewhere on your computer
