Chosen Solution
So I have a Late 2009 iMac which i gutted and turned into a LCD monitor with an LCD driver board and that my windows 10 desktop pc uses as a monitor. I also connected the optical drive through a sata to usb adaptor and im also using that for the pc. I was wondering if it would be possible to use the speakers, camera, sd card reader, and microphone? is there an adaptor to be able to connect them to my pc through usb? they use apple motherboard connectors
I thought I answered this before for you? I think you’ve looking for a drop in solution to do all of this, sadly there is just no cookie cutter solution you’ll need to make your own. I know of people doing similar things using Arduino or Raspberry Pi units which then are connected via USB to their PC or Mac system. It’s a big job as you need to be both a hardware engineer as well as a software hound. You’ll need to do some hunting
