I accidentally spilled toothpaste on my dsi xl about 6 months ago but i started needing it more so i thought i would ask if there is a way to fix it without paying for anything like a new hard drive or something like that. Anyone know the answer Also the screws got rusted or stripped somehow it only happened to the three by the slot 1 card reader. How do i remove the screws???
@magicalturtle use these guides to disassemble your DSi XL . Then clean everything with some sterile water and a soft brush (toothbrush will work) and follow that up with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol. This will dissipate the water and leftover residue. Let it air dry then reassemble.
