Hi, Is there any way to lock the POWER button on LG washer? My child used to spin the washing mode button so I started to use child lock feature but now he found the power button which apparently is not disabled by child lock. :D Or is there at least a way how to resume the washing from the point where it was turned off? :D
Hi @vrauza , You cannot “lock” the Power button as this is the button that controls the power to the machine. Also once it is operated to turn off the machine, any programmed settings that were enabled for a particular type of wash cycle etc will be lost so the machine cannot be restarted from where it was during the wash cycle when it was turned off. You may either have to deny your child access to the machine if possible, whilst it is operating or teach them that it is not appropriate for them to touch it when it is operating. Easier said that done I know ;-) Not sure if this would work but you could try covering the switch with something like this and use it in conjunction with the child lock and check if this works. If it doesn’t then your child is smarter than the designers of the product
