We are trying to find out if there is a low oil motor sensor? on a 2004 Jetta 1.8L turbo that protects the motor from ceasing up? Please advise. Thanks, Chris
No, there is not. Your first indicator would be a low oil pressure light. Stay on top of oil changes, repair leaks promptly, and check your oil regularly. Keep in mind oil runs through that turbo and its quite expensive and a pain in the rear to replace.
