Is there Troubleshooting software available to assist with fault finding on smart phones and tablets
@christoff sorry no magic software here. You have to repair and trouble shoot the old way. Arm yourself with the schematic and a multimeter etc.
There are some hidden diagnostics tests and other menus in Android. To access them you open your dial pad like you would to dial a number to call someone. Then you enter a specific code into the dial pad which will pop up a diagnostics test menu or another menu depending on the code you enter. Some of the codes may be specific to your device while others are not. You can use Google to search for secret codes for your specific device.
