Chosen Solution
The freezer is old, at the back I see a “HUAYI B43CB”, and no other labeling.
I am a renter, so I don’t know it’s providence. It has been stopping intermittently for the last week, and in the last two days it has not come on at all. It dosen’t have a light, but it is certainly plugged in and switched on. Looking inside I see that one of the pipes in the draw of the freezer is broken;
Is this why the freezer is not working? Can it be fixed?
Apparently it is very broken because the broken pipe will have allowed the refrigerant to escape.
