Can i boot ssd in uefi mode ,swtched to ssd from hdd ,installed windows 10 but uefi option in bios is not available and still booting in ahci mode which is not speed up the laptop operation. Is this possible to boot in uefi mode though it seems uefi mode is not supported in vostro 1450,is it
Hi Amit Based on the info from dell, this model does not supports uefi . https://downloads.dell.com/manuals/all-p… As the mainboard does not support this, thus there is no options to change, to say, it will be in legacy mode
