Hi! This is my first switch repair so I’m a little hesitant. I have a bad coil due to liquid damage. To get replaced.There’s shorts around max77620 and alc5639. I ordered both and I’m willing to replace them.Bq24193 gets really warm when I’m charging a known good battery but the board goes into fast charge even though it starts dropping amps right after. My battery is 100% which I’m guessing is the normal thing to do?? Anything to do with the bad coil maybe? What do you guys think??
You’ve ordered parts that are showing shorts around them. Have you checked to see what is causing the short? Also have you removed the parts from the board to confirm they’re at fault? There’s a guy on YouTube called The Coder who fixes a lot of switches. Give him a watch, might help with your problem, good luck.
