About a week ago white horizontal lines appeared on my tv, then a few days ago the picture started going black, with the audio and backlights still working fine. Each time I turn it on, the picture works, only for a few minutes before going black again. If I leave the tv plugged in, the time between the picture coming on, then going black is shortened to just a few seconds. After looking online, a lot of forums/videos suggested it could be an issue with the t con board, however, I ordered one and fitted it today, but the problem still persists, exactly the same with both the new and old board. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be?
@s675487 horizontal lines are never caused by a t-con board. Most commonly those are panel errors. In the case of your TV it does sound like a component heats up and cause your problems. You want to unplug your set and post some pictures of all of your boards with your question. That will allow us to see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that.
