Hi all, I’m having a very similar issue with my MacBook Air running on High Sierra but with a Transcend JetDrive 820 that is specifically made to upgrade MacBooks.. Everything runs perfectly after restarting the Mac but after waking it up from sleep things take forever and I get freezes, too. I have not found any related issues with this drive so I’m assuming it normally works fine. Could it be the OS upgrade that is causing the trouble? Or am I missing something else? I appreciate any sort of help!
could you try to go to system preferences–Energy saver section and change the “put hard disks to sleep when possible”
My problem with waking up began after installing 10.13.4 on April 12
