Today after using and charging over night it won’t power on. Please help…
@bergerbits you will find that there are many online complaints regarding exactly that issue. It has never been resolved by the manufacturer. You could now be stuck with a device that potentially have these issues based on poor design. Try this first to see if it is a ROM/Firmware issue: Reset the tablet
- Press and hold the “volume - button” and press “power ON” button to see the small “Android robot”
- Then press the “volume + and –“ button together
- Use the volume buttons to move up or down for selection, use power button to confirm your selection -choose “wipe data/factory reset” and wait for finish.-choose “wipe cache partition” and wait for finish-choose “reboot system now” and confirm to restart the player This will delete your files! After that you will have to check the AC adapter for porper output to ensure it delivers enough power to charge the battery. Then you will have to check the DC apater on the device to ensure that it is porperly soldered and still properly connected. Mesure the input with a multimeter while your Hipstreet it disassembled and the AC adapter plugged in. Then you will have to test the Power On button circuitry to see if it is fully functioning. As you can see this can get very complex.
