Same problem, no sound when it goes black. I have a UN55JU6400FXZA Series 6. When it starts, it goes black/no sound 2-5 times a minute for about 3 seconds each time. Recently, it started to go black for 10+ seconds at a time. So far I’ve only unplugged the power cord, waited 30-60 seconds and that clears it up for a while (maybe an evening long). Tonight I just unplugged it, but next time I’ll test accessing the menu and other preliminary tests, but I want to follow this thread.
@jamesreb360 since you are losing video and audio, it sounds like a main board issue. You will have to check the power board as well to make sure it supplies the voltage/signal to the main board. Eventually you will have to remove teh back of your TV and check it out. When you do take some good pictures of your boards and post those with your question. that way we can see what you see.
