Same with mine but it has light and when I try to turn on it makes a pop noise .help??
@vmac2321 you will need to let us know what make and model your TV is. After that you also want to remove the back off your TV and take a look at the boards. check for any obviously damaged parts like leaking, domed looking capacitors etc. Try to isolated where the popping noise comes from. Right now it does sound like possibly a bad power board and the noise may come from the relays or the transformers Take some good pictures of your boards and post those with your question.
