Chosen Solution
So this has been happening for about 3 days and recently before it hadn’t been dropped or bumped so I’m assuming the battery is still in place. But it only turns on and works when plugged in, even if it’s not charging (optimized charging stops the phone from charging sometimes). When it is not plugged in I can power it on but it never gets to my home screen. And there is a warranty on it so I would get a new one but not anytime soon so if there is a way to fix it I’d love the help (as long as it doesn’t require me opening up the phone or replacement of the battery)
Hi, I suggest that you do get it repaired under warranty. It may be a faulty battery but then again it may be a problem on the systemboard, which if faulty, would cost a whole lot more than a battery. Don’t put up with the problem until the warranty expires, get it fixed before it does. that’s what warranties are for ;-)
