Joe Kolsecki, it is possible that your laser is either dirty or has failed. You could try a commercially available lens clean, i.e. Maxell makes a brushless / dry Blue-Ray/HD-DVD cleaner. Or you could try this. If none of that works, consider changing the laser assembly. If nothing else, try to contact the game console guru
