Whenever I plug the power adapter into it and I charged it for over two nights and I go to turn it on it says critical battery please charge, then shuts off
Is the charging LED lit when you plug in the charger? It should be blinking. If not the USB port may need replacing.
Purchased one 2 days ago that was on 28/12 /2017…needed recharging the next day.. charged it overnight, next morning saying battery critical again! So problem solve with YES you guessed it utube.. watched several & after doing everything but put it in the fridge like one guy suggested
The charging led on mine only flashes when the battery is removed. Speaker works normally with no battery fitted, but does not switch on with battery in. Shows 40% charge with or without battery.
Unplug the charger and put it back in then wait 40 min then test it
The issue I have with mine is I believe a USB port issue. I have to fight it in a specific angle/way to start charging. It’s not plug & charge for me. When I do get the charge indicator to appear, 24 hours later the speaker turns on but then critical battery please charge then off. I think the charge port is the issue for me. It’s too weak to let me play music from it to see speaker quality.
My UE MEGABOOM only was playing while charging. When I displuged, it stopped playing (but da light of the on/off button was still on and my phone was still reconizing it on the bluetooh). I did the following steps said by Andrew Pifferini on the link below: Why won’t my speaker turn on? Now is playing without the charging cables. Hope this helps;
