My bpl fridge not working properly.its take long time for restart after shut off
Hi, What is the model number of the refrigerator? It might be doing a defrost cycle so if it hasn’t restarted, allow 25 minutes after it first stopped to see if it turns on by itself because the defrost cycle has ended. Most defrost cycles occur once every 8-10 hours and last for 20-25 minutes. During this time the compressor and evaporator fan are both turned off to allow the refrigerator time to defrost. The only other time that it should stop is when the set temps have been reached but it should start again after a few minutes especially if the doors have been opened allowing the cool air to escape and the temp has gone up. If it is stopped for >25 minutes, turn off the power to the refrigerator, wait for 1 minute and then turn it back on again and check if it starts again.
