HI, I was hoping if you Guys can help me fix this iPhone 6 I had from a family member a while ago. Before, when I tried to power it on, it’d just boot to iTunes screen, and error 9 when I tried restoring it in iTunes. I had another iPhone 6 screen which seems to be working fine, so I replaced the screen on the new phone with the screen I had and I was able to restore the phone fine. I then decided to put back the old screen on the new phone, hoping it would work fine but It didn’t work, it’d just boot up to the apple logo and then restart itself. I changed the screen back to the screen (including the home button ) to the screen I had again, tried restoring again but I got error 9 same as before when I had the phone. The phone is also stuck in boot loop with a strange lines and display on the screen that pops up before screen goes off and restart. Please watch the video below. https://youtu.be/XrVmdIGPqAY

Sorry to tell you but error 9 is connected with hardware fault on motherboard. Try repairing it at specialist. Good luck!

@thykhin I just figured out that error 9 is the EEPROM. Here’s where I found it: https://d3nevzfk7ii3be.cloudfront.net/ig
