Jack Is Not Working Phone Will Charge On Another Alcatel One Touch Alcatel One Touch Feature Phone

Charging Jack appears to be BROKEN! I can charge my battery on my friends phone. He has the same Alcatel one touch, purchased a few yrs ago. When I try to charge there is no connection, no blue light. NOTHING! Can I repair the jack? Phone is with Public Mobile and having a !&&* of a time getting help!

Unless you know it is the jack, I would go for the battery first.
