Hello, I replaced my water filter today and since then the door alarm buzzer won’t stop going off. It keeps beeping even after resetting the alarm. After a minute the console says ‘Fd’. Not sure what the problem is. I already tried unplugging the fridge from the back for more than a minute but that did not fix it. Any ideas?
Hi @peterpullman It may be in software so maybe you can’t, unless you find the speaker (control board?) and disconnect it permanently from the board ;-). There is this option to temporarily mute the alarm. Hopefully it is applicable to your particular model.
Hi @deepsingh , Try manually operating the door switches a few times in case they’re not working properly. The lights should go off if you operate them with the door open. Not sure with your model but they should be in the door jamb somewhere. Update (07/24/2020) Hi @deepsingh , Unless a better answer comes along beforehand, you might want to consider purchasing the service manual. Given the cost it may be a worthwhile investment
