Chosen Solution

Recently, over several weeks, the water flow from my Jura S9 has been poor. Very slow to dispense coffee and sometimes the stream even stops and restarts. Today, while dispensing, there was a loud pop, like a circuit breaker popped. I could hear sizzling after that. The machine kept going, but no more coffee came out. After that, I tried a rinse cycle. It ran, but the water came out from the bottom instead of the spout. There are no error messages displayed. It doesn’t seem to know it’s broken. I opened the covers. There is a host that exploded. I assume where ever it outputs too is blocked.

Is this repairable? What do I replace? (aside from the tubing that busted)

Sorry, it’s a little bit late. Try to open and revise the brewing unit using this guide, especially the drainage valve. The hose itself can easily be replaced. Think also of the outlet valve (the one with the black cap, visible in your foto), look for this guide.

I’m curious if Ms. Shaheen ever solved this problem. My machine just made loud pop and I took back panel off and the exact same hose has ruptured and I am wondering if I simply replace it, if the same thing will happen again.
