Does the light continue to flash until the unit is fully charged ?
Per page 9 of the user’s manual, the battery indicator light glows amber when it is charging, and glows green when it is fully charged. It can take up to 3 hours to fully charge, but you should be able to use it while it is charging. So if it is not usable while plugged in, it is probably a defective unit.
