Hey all! I just received my replacement display assembly for my mid 2015 15” retina MacBook Pro; the process went off without a hitch, except that my front facing FaceTime camera has a blue-ish tint on it. I plan on taking the back plate back off and disconnecting and re-connecting the cable to see if that helps, any other reasons this would happen? Thank you! :)
Its common for areas with adhesives on new displays to be covered in a blue plastic. if you carefully look into the camera on the screen it may have been forgotten there.
Was this issue resolved im current dealing with the EXACT same scenario with a mid 2014 15 inch
