I have a year and half old Lenovo Yoga Pro 3 and it started crashing a month or so ago. Sometimes I could reboot and then use it for a while, only to crash a bit later. Lenovo ran a remote diagnostic and no hardware issues were identified. They advised reinstalling Windows, so I backed everything up and did so. Still crashing. Lenovo said bring it to Geek Squad. The Geek guy said it could be a hard drive or motherboard issue and to bring it in for a more thorough diagnostic. Any ideas?
Since the Geek guy tells you the truth, why didn’t you give it to him? You can check the HDD with CrystalDiskInfo. Mainboard repair will be very difficult. They will replace it under warranty.
