I’ve replaced the ice maker and water valve the ice maker not calling for water. I also checked my water supply good strong water source. The ice maker is working but no water model of the ice maker 4317943. Even checked continuity between the brown and white wire going to the water valve good Any help very appreciated
You will want to make sure the water valve is actually open. turn it so that it’s fully open. Wait for about 60-90 min. and see if the ice maker begins to produce ice. If it does, then the water supply valve wasn’t properly open. The water supply lines may be kinked, or they could be frozen. Check the refrigerator’s filter. When there’s no filter, or it’s clogged, the ice maker does not get water. Make sure that the filter is in place, and if it has not been changed in more than six months, replace it with a new one.
