I have a Kenmore fridge, the ice maker stopped working so i bought a brand new one and still doesn’t work. I started testing for power at the end of the cable the goes to the ice make and there is none, the cable is not replaceable.
Hi Here’s the service and wiring diagram for the refrigerator, that may help. It shows the 4 wires connected to the ice maker (maybe 6 if optional fan is connected). -see image
(click on image) The power to the ice maker are the Black and White wires. You may have to trace either one back to the next connection point as shown in the wiring diagram and check if there is power there. This doesn’t mean that they’re run as shown in the wiring diagram, they may go somewhere else first. The diagram is only a representation of the circuit and not the actual wiring run, but all the points should be connected if you get my meaning
