My Kenmore Elite dishwasher will not do a final drain. I hear it as its cleaning it drains, but when it comes to the final drain I am left with “Gray” water in the bottom only in the round filter area. I have cleared the drain, checked the line all clear. When the dishwasher stops and there is water left, I can hit the cancel button and it will discharge the water. I have done a reset on the control panel , still does not finish the final drain. Any help will be greatly appreciated
Hi @scrappy13 , Just verifying that the drain hose has a high loop in it before connecting into the drain. Grey water sounds like water siphoning back into the dishwasher. Check if there is a “tech sheet” behind the kick panel (toe panel?) of the dishwasher. If so it shows how to get into the diagnostic mode for the dishwasher which may make it easier to determine what is happening. I can’t remember how to do this for 665 models.
