I have removed the shell, the video, the audio, and the power boards. I found a bad solder connection on the video board connected to a capacitor. On the audio board there is a 4 pin chip, and 2 tall transitors, they all smell burned. I am not sure how to test the chip and the transistors to see if anything is actually damaged.
Hi @zcrashcoot Here’s the service manual for the receiver. Like most service manuals it has schematics, board layouts and a parts list. The schematic is on p.14.
