Mac Book Pro 13 inch Late 2011- High Sierra. I have several keys on my key pad that have just stopped illuminating, those being on the right hand side , namely 9, 0, -, =, o, p, [, ], L, ;, ‘, , and the remainder to the right of those are not fully illuminated, including the return and shift key. I wonder could this be a bulb that has stopped working or something else? Any ideas on how to rectify this would be most welcome. Dave U K
The backlight assembly is made up of small LED’s. It sounds like you either had a liquid spill which has damaged it or one or more of the LED have failed.
