My keyboard and trackpad stopped working, at the service center they told that there might be a problem with the control IC.
Well…. They are off base here ;-} Your problem is likely either the trackpad cable and/or the trackpad its self. This series combines the keyboard & trackpad signals within a single cable from the trackpad to the logic board and its a bit more exposed than the older models so it can get damaged. Its also possible you had a liquid spill which seeped behind the trackpad and corrosion had but up on the cable connectors. And lastly the controller logic on the back of the trackpad could be damaged. In both these cases you’ll need a new trackpad as well.
