Chosen Solution
Hello, I posted here because I buy an used Macbook Pro, but I observed the keyboard backlight didn’t work (on MacOS or Linux). So I checked the hardware : a cable is half cutted (close the the right fan, I don’t have photo yet). So I suppose it is the cable of the backlight keyboard. So : can I fix simply and without change the keyboard this backlight cable ? Thanks ! Best regards.
You will need to install a new backlight.
