Hello, I recently replaced the logic board on my Macbook Pro. Now that the device is able to boot, I found that most of the keys on the internal keyboard were dead. After disconnecting the keyboard from the logic board, I attempted to use an external USB keyboard, and found most but not all of the same keys to be unresponsive, and the H key on the USB keyboard acts as a backspace. Any idea what might be causing this to happen? I’ve tried a number of external keyboards and they all exhibit the same issue. Thank you!
I would do a few things here, first I would go into the System Preferences > Keyboard, Click on the Input Sources tab take a snapshot of the left column and post it here for us to see Adding images to an existing question. Next I would check the Show Input menu in menu bar so you can see the keyboard viewer in the menu bar. Then as you hit the keys of the keyboard is the same key being marked in the keyboard viewer?
