Hi all, I have a MacBook Pro 13 inch early 2015 and all of a sudden I cannot login anymore due to my keyboard not properly working. The on/off button works, also the caps lock button works and also the FN keys seem to be working (when I press F5 I get the voice over option). I also can’t seem to reset the NVRAM or get into recovery / safe modus because the buttons also do not seem to be working during boot up. My trackpad works properly. The strange thing is when I connect an external keyboard I still can’t enter my password in the login screen because it is not working. However, when I click forget password in the login screen the MacBook reboots and I get the forgotten password setup, here an external keyboard does work properly. I opened up the laptop and the battery is not swollen, I disconnected and reconnected the trackpad cable. I don’t understand if this is a hardware problem or a software problem. Has anyone experience with this issue? Thank you!

Sadly, as this point you’ll need to find someone local who has deeper skills and access to the needed parts to fix your system. From the sounds of it I have a feeling your logic board has an issue.
