the following keys of dell inspiron is not working: letter k(is stock but when I sign in the password window is full of letter k and keep on repeating), #8, capslock sometimes, arrow left, control key abnormal, screen brightness flashes to max and immediately return to 0. I’ve brought this to shop but after few days the problem still the same. what should I do, please help…now i’m using the onscreen keyboard, its operational but time consuming.
The key is probably held down by something sticky. Try cleaning it with a lint free cloth dampened with alcohol, the alcohol should loosen the key and the cloth will remove the debris. Be careful not to pop the key cap off, on Dell laptop keyboard the keys are easy to pop off and very hard to put back in.
